The Simulation Scenario Frameworks team at Zoox is looking for a full-stack engineer to enable and extend authoring of challenging real-world driving scenarios </span></div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><li>Develop autonomous driving simulation scenario tools to author, inspect, and evaluate the performance of autonomous driving software.</li><li>Extend a web-based front-end for 3D graphical definition of detailed autonomous driving simulation scenarios.</li><li>Extend a web back-end to interact with simulation and autonomous driving software.</li><li>Work closely with internal customers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of industry experience, with proficiency in Web APIs, TypeScript, and CSS</li><li>Experience building sophisticated single-page web applications with modern web development frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue</li><li>Experience developing web user interfaces (UI / UX)</li><li>A BS in Computer Science or related field</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience with 3D libraries / engines (e.g., <a href="http://three.js/">Three.js</a>, OpenGL, Unity, etc.)</li><li>Experience in C++ and Python development</li><li>Experience with simulation, robotics, or autonomous vehicles</li></ul><br><div><b>Compensation</b></div><div>There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary will range from $195,000 - $255,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package.
