About the Job

Our commissary kitchen in East Cambridge is the heart of our operation.

We have no freezers in the entire company, and this fact defines our food. We work with the highest percentage of local and organic food of any restaurant in the Northeast. We receive produce directly from New England farms and turn it into the delicious food we’ve come to be known for.

We host weekly food development meetings. We work carefully and quickly. We taste a lot. If you come to work in our kitchen, you’ll get to work with a talented team with long-term experience in the food industry. We produce all our food from scratch and bake bread daily for our restaurants. Kitchen Team Members can start in either the kitchen prepping food or in the bakery producing pita from local grain that's milled in MA. We’re looking for people who share our love of food, find joy through hard work, and lift the spirits of those around them.

 • Keeping everything sparkling

Clover's mission is to address global warming by building a better food future. With the help of raving fans, it has expanded from a food truck in 2008 to 12 restaurants serving thousands daily in the greater Boston area. We clean. We chop, cook, season. We make friends of our customers. We clean some more. It sounds simple, but what we’re doing is something beautiful and new. We source from local farmers to an unbelievable level, far more than anybody in our industry. And that keeps dollars in our community. We treat our food with respect, much of it is organic, we use no chemicals to flavor or “enhance” our food, no preservatives, minimal added fat and sugar and salt, no freezers. And that means our food improves the health of our customers. We want food to taste the way it should. We’re hoping you’re here because you love food too, and because you want to be part of something important. Clover is growing quickly, and we’re constantly hiring.
