Everyone is highly valued and plays a vital role in the growth of our organization.</p></div><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage the construction of our new brownfield EV battery manufacturing plant from start to finish in Kankakee County, Illinois.</li><li>Develop and implement a construction plan that ensures the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.</li><li>Coordinate with all stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies.</li><li>Oversee all aspects of construction, including site preparation, foundation work, building construction, and installation of equipment, including the shipment and installation of manufacturing machinery.</li><li>Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are met.</li><li>Manage the project budget and track expenses.</li><li>Communicate regularly with the Chief Engineer and other senior management on the progress of the project.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Fluent in Mandarin/Chinese, ideally Native.</li><li>10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years of experience on large, complex projects.</li><li>Experience working with brownfield or greenfield sites is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of Automotive Regulations, EV Batteries or Energy or Complex Site Construction is a plus.</li><li>Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement project plans, track progress, and manage budgets.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $200,000 + 20% bonus + benefits.
