Everyone is highly valued and plays a vital role in the growth of our organization.</div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Design mechanical components and systems for LFP battery energy storage systems (BESS) </li><li>Develop and validate mechanical designs through simulations, prototyping, and testing. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and thermal management systems. </li><li>Conduct performance analysis and optimization of mechanical systems to improve efficiency and reliability. </li><li>Develop and execute test plans to validate mechanical designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. </li><li>Analyze test data and implement design improvements based on results. </li><li>Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. </li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source materials and components. </li><li>Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. </li><li>Proven experience in the design and development of mechanical systems for battery energy storage systems, specifically lithium iron phosphate technology. </li><li>Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and thermal management. </li><li>Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., FEA, CFD). </li><li>Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>Strong communication and project management skills. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Experience with the integration of mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems in battery energy storage applications. </li><li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to battery safety and performance. </li><li>Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection for energy storage systems. </li></ul><div><div><div>Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
