About the Job

Description

 1. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of BOM, process flow, working instructions, production related drawings, tooling selection & design.
2. Conduct process review on product design drawings to ensure that product design meets production requirements;
3. Responsible for conducting root-cause analysis, proposing product improvement plans and working cross-functionally to help resolve any production related issues, such as supplier quality issues (IQC), design-related issues, any assembly-related issues or any production complaints that occurred during the manufacturing process.
4. Responsible for the maintenance of product quality.
5. Responsible for formulating production working hours, formulating production plans according to working hours and procurement cycles, and controlling production costs;
6. Guide and supervise production according to the production drawings, working instructions, process flow and any related documents;
7  Responsible for supporting after-sales service, customer complaints and quality feedback, and assisting to deal with the related issues;
8. Assist in evaluating new suppliers, and introducing and transforming new technologies to the production line.

9. Responsible for the confirmation and follow-up of the trial assembly and test results of new suppliers' parts;

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or higher, major in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.

2. More than 2 years of relevant work experience in electrical vehicle assembly (preferred experience with E-truck or E-bus), and technical documents management, such as BOM, SOP, process flow design, working station setup, quality control document, PFMEA.
3. Familiar with basic mechanical product knowledge of vehicles, such as braking, steering, suspension, cooling system. 

4. Familiar with GD&T, mechanical fixture design and tooling management.

5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design software (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Proficiency in English, Mandarin Chinese preferred.
7. Ability to travel, 10% domestic and 10% international

8. Ability to handle overseas meetings and overseas suppliers.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Required to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and crawl.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to high-levels of noise.
  • Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots and hardhats.
  • Position may operate a motor vehicle and may work outdoors.
