The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the Project Contractor’s contract and overseeing the execution of the Client's Projects Management Program. This role requires a minimum of 15 years of experience and a B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Control and monitor projects in terms of budgets, cost, planning/scheduling, changes/variations throughout all design and construction stages.</li><li>Control and monitor the dashboard data input submitted by all parties involved in the project.</li><li>Review, validate, and consolidate the project's weekly/monthly dashboards and reports, highlighting any concerns.</li><li>Prepare and issue the monthly report on project status and progress for review and approval.</li><li>Provide monthly updated forecasts to the client finance on projects cost, liabilities, and progress.</li><li>Develop the 'Client's Projects Management Program' Project Contractor’s contract document, ensuring consistency with tender documents, allied submissions, and pertinent laws.</li><li>Review and approve all planning and programming details proposed by the contractor.</li><li>Verify technical proposals submitted by the contractor.</li><li>Approve materials and equipment to be used in the project.</li><li>Certify that works have been carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and notify the client of any deviations.</li><li>Coordinate with relevant service authorities to procure latest drawings, data, or other information necessary for the Project Management Program (PMP).</li><li>Assist in dealing with the settlement of disputes or differences that may arise between the client and the contractor.</li><li>Review, prepare recommendations on, and negotiate claims from the contractor for extensions of time, payment for additional work, and other similar matters.</li><li>Review, verify, validate, and recommend to the client the Payment Certificates of Contractors for necessary approval.</li><li>Maintain data associated with processed payments.</li><li>Assist the client in the pre-tendering and tendering process, including prequalification, short-listing of consultants and contractors, providing clarifications to bidders’ queries, and evaluating submitted proposals.</li><li>Enforce the contractor's adherence to the contract terms and conditions per the contract requirements and client's policies and procedures.</li><li>Review, approve, and assist the client in contractors and consultants’ invoices and their payments for each project.</li><li>Ensure compliance of awarded contracts in areas such as Guarantees, Invoicing and payment, Change management, Claims, Preliminary and final handover, Defects and warranty, and Closeout.</li><li>Prepare and implement a Contract knowledge transfer plan which includes comprehensive on-the-job learning for the client's staff. The plan should be discussed and agreed with the client and updated every 6 months or as required.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>A minimum of 15 years of experience in contract/ project control administration</li><li>PMP certification is an advantage</li><li>B.Sc. in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of contract law and project management principles.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.</li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.</li></ul>Please note that due to the volume of applications, only candidates with skills and experience matching our current vacancies will be contacted.
