The Green Technology Group, LLC (TGTG) is seeking a skilled program analyst with a strong background in strategic communications to support our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) customer. Flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.                                                            Job Description Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities   Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-bottom:10px;"><li style="margin-bottom:12px;"> Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports.</li><li style="margin-bottom:12px;">Determining program requirements and making recommendations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:12px;">Analyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these.</li><li style="margin-bottom:12px;">Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.</li><li style="margin-bottom:12px;">Assisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.</li><li style="margin-bottom:12px;">Identifying and resolving issues and problems.</li><li style="margin-bottom:12px;">Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.</li></ul>Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations. Required Skills &amp; Experience <ul style="margin-bottom:10px;"><li style="margin-top:6px;">Must have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs.</li><li style="margin-top:6px;">Must be able to use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes.</li><li style="margin-top:6px;">Must be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations.</li><li style="margin-top:6px;">Must be able to effectively manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes.</li><li style="margin-top:6px;">Experience in creating new methods of gathering and analyzing source data to evaluate program effectiveness and analyze business processes.</li><li style="margin-top:6px;">Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation.</li><li style="margin-top:6px;">Legal authorization to work in the U.S.</li></ul>Years of Professional Experience: Bachelor's Degree (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education). 5 years related experience required  TGTG is an equal opportunity employer.
