If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.</div></div><p><span>We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support the Powertrain Development and Engineering (PDE) team.  </span>The role will be focused on processing and executing highly technical and time sensitive projects that support enables the test and build of electric powertrain products.</p><p>The Role:</p><ul><li>Collect and organize EV powertrain test and build requirements to support the identification and establishment of lab equipment.  </li><li>Perform cost benefit analysis of high value equipment.</li><li>Support project engineers by providing validated milestones and requirements that aligns with facility and powertrain program timelines.</li><li>Align with facility updates and integrate with project execution schedules.</li><li>Perform and maintain a continuous risk mitigation.</li><li>Collect technical and commercial variables that would support the planning and decision matrix related to parallel lab implementations.</li><li>Process change management that arise due to unforeseen development requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed library of technical documentation.</li><li>Devise strategic plans that optimizes existing facility and equipment capabilities to support powertrain development projects.</li><li>Develop and implement tools that helps optimize the processing and sharing of technical details.</li><li>Determine resource requirements and potential impacts.</li><li>Evaluate the workmanship of designers and contractors to suggest and highlight critical improvements.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>8+ years experience with bachelor’s degree or 6+ years and master’s degree.</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical &amp; mechanical engineering fundamentals.</li><li>Ability to study &amp; understand electrical &amp; electronic schematic &amp; layouts.</li><li>Exposure to automotive test equipment.</li><li>Exposure to AutoCAD or similar CAD software.</li><li>Experience working with facility planners and contractors to estimate and deploy test labs.</li><li>Experience with utilizing and implementing planning tools for timelines, budget, risk management, communication, etc.</li><li>Ability to develop and optimize equipment layouts.</li><li>Self-start with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.</li><li>Translate equipment specifications and requirements to facility capability.</li><li>Ability to be flexible and responsive.</li><li>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various disciplines within the organization.</li><li>Familiarity of developing</li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>EV Test Experience.</li><li>Familiar with fabrication, assembly of fixtures and wiring.</li><li>Managing multiple highly visible and time sensitive projects in parallel.</li><li>Implementation of powertrain labs from inception to operation.</li><li>Experience working on projects that require building permits.</li><li>Knowledge of architectural and structural disciplines.</li><li>Able to function at a high level and to effectively change direction based upon business needs.</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Minimum – BE/BS in the areas of Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.</li></ul><div><div><div><div><strong>Salary Range</strong>: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Additional Compensation and Benefits</strong>: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
