We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.</div></div></div></div></div></div>Controls Technician, Refining ProductionThe Controls Technician’s primary responsibility is to implement and maintain the controls hardware, instrumentation, and electrical equipment at Redwood Materials.Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and automated manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Fabricate and perform upgrades and repairs to electrical control panels.</li><li>Field wire instrumentation and motor controls.</li><li>Perform and document maintenance calibrations, installations, fault diagnosis, repair of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.</li><li>Performs troubleshooting on all instrument systems and process control using P&amp;ID and electrical schematics.</li></ul>Desired Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 4+ years’ hands-on experience working in an automated manufacturing environment; fabricating and wiring control panels and troubleshooting control systems and instrumentation.</li><li>Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics and competency around voltages up to 480V.</li><li>Troubleshooting, and a knowledge of electromechanical systems is a big plus!</li><li>A passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to safely perform job duties in both office and production plant environments.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Must maintain regular and punctual attendance in alignment with company and regulatory standards.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Must be able to communicate clearly.</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">Split work environment between office and the production facility.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Work may involve extended periods of working in the production facility.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Ability to work in challenging working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature extremes, while protected by PPE, for extended periods of time.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">May require occasional work weekends or alternate shifts to support production needs as needed.</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">Day and Overnight Shifts available<ul><li style="font-size:12pt;">D Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am, Thursday - Sat (every other Wed); 15% differential</li><li style="font-size:12pt;">E Shift: Mon - Fri, 5x8s, with the ability to work weekends as needed</li></ul></li></ul>   <div>The position is full-time.
