Your efforts in electrifying fleets have made a substantial impact on combating climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, paving the way for a decarbonized planet for future generations to enjoy. </span></div><br><br><h3>What You’ll Be Responsible for In Your Role: </h3><ul><li><b>Overseeing general accounting functions</b>, including preparing journal entries, managing inter-company accounting, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports. </li><li><b>Accounting for all leases</b> in compliance with ASC 842. You will manage the accounting for operating and finance leases as the lessor and as a lessee, subleases, lease modifications, and the preparation of amortization schedules for right-of-use assets and liabilities.  </li><li><b>Leading the customer invoicing process</b>, from invoice creation and collections to cash application and reconciliation.  </li><li><b>Meeting deadlines for accounting close and financial reporting</b>, ensuring timely submission of all internal and external requirements. </li><li><b>Assisting in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns</b> by providing accurate and timely tax data and documentation.  </li><li><b>Calculating, invoicing, collecting, reporting, and remitting sales and use taxes</b>, ensuring compliance with regulations and accurate reporting. </li><li><b>Preparing financial statements</b> in adherence to company policies, US GAAP, and external reporting requirements. </li><li><b>Developing and maintaining internal controls</b> by documenting policies and procedures, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance. </li><li><b>Collaborating closely with Finance team members and other departments</b>, sharing knowledge and streamlining processes to improve systems and performance. </li></ul><h3>Who You Are: </h3><ul><li>You have a valid CPA license and a minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting (public or private). </li><li>You have a strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), in particular, Lease Accounting as a lessor and Revenue Recognition (ASC 842 and 606). </li><li>You have advanced knowledge when it comes to Excel, and are comfortable with building pivot tables and with other Excel related data analysis tools. </li><li>You have a solid background in cloud accounting, with experience in Oracle NetSuite considered a plus. </li><li>You have managed accounting workflows for companies with multiple entities/divisions.  </li><li>You have successfully deployed and managed the implementation system of a new billing system. </li><li>You ideally have accounting experience in one or more of the following areas: fleet management, charging management, electric vehicles, or clean energy. </li><li>You have superior organizational, process management, and communication skills when it comes to working cross-functionally and with project management. </li><li>You have demonstrated advanced time management skills to handle multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. </li></ul><br><div><b style="font-size:18px;">Our Core Values:</b><span style="font-size:18px;"> </span></div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">Inspiration’s culture is based on a shared respect for our core values described </span><a style="font-size:11pt;" href="https://inspirationmobility.com/careers/">HERE</a><span style="font-size:11pt;">.
