About the Job
RABOT Energy is actively seeking a Product Designer to join our mobile app team. In this role, you will take full ownership of the user journey, focusing on product discovery and defining the problem space as a key member of a product trio. You will lead the entire design process, involving engineers early and continuously from ideation through to build and launch. As an outcome-focused designer, you will evaluate the product’s performance to ensure that both business and user values are successfully addressed. A strong understanding of business needs combined with design thinking is essential for this position. We are looking for candidates who excel at experimenting to achieve optimal user experiences in a collaborative environment. As the advocate for our users, you will actively engage with both internal and external stakeholders to define and accomplish our objectives. Your Impact
- Transforming intricate business processes into intuitive and sophisticated user experiences
- Working on a meaningful product that influences our users’ monthly budget while fueling the energy transformation in Germany.
- Offering expertise in enhancing the user experience of our applications through strategic design and performance optimizations.
- Leading cross-team conceptual development and design documentation, collaborating closely with PMs, engineers, business teams, and senior management.
- You are contributing to multiple projects within an agile, fast-paced environment, always advocating for the user.
- Serving as the go-to team member for inquiries or clarifications on UI/UX matters.
- Significant expertise as a mobile user experience designer, interaction designer, or in a comparable role
- A portfolio reflecting experience in mobile app product design.
- Strong comprehension of UX and user-centric design processes, coupled with proficiency in data-driven analytics.
- A keen eye for visual and information hierarchy paired with a knack for creating delightful and clear interfaces.
- Capability to develop impactful mobile app designs
- Proficient in project prioritization and management.
- Background in a product-led growth environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in a professional context in both English and German (C1)
- Being based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg for this role

<p>Der Energieanbieter RABOT Charge macht es für jeden möglich, unkompliziert aktiver Teil der Energiewende zu werden. RABOT Charge denkt Energie neu und bietet für Kund*innen einen dynamischen Stromtarif für Haushalt und Elektroauto mit 100% Ökostrom an. Das heißt, im Gegensatz zu anderen Stromanbietern, kauft Rabot Charge Strom kurzfristig über den Day-Ahead und Intraday-Markt ein, nutzt somit die stündlichen Preisschwankungen an der Strombörse und gibt den Einkaufspreis direkt an Kund*innen weiter. So können zum Beispiel E-Autos automatisiert dann geladen werden, wenn der Börsenstrompreis in einem festgelegten Ladezeitfenster besonders gering ist. Da bei viel Wind und Sonne die Preise niedrig sind, wird so nicht nur der Geldbeutel geschont, sondern auch die Umwelt. Den Energieverbrauch sowie das smarte und automatisierte Energiemanagement können Verbraucher*innen in Echtzeit in der RABOT Charge App nachverfolgen und steuern. Ziel ist es, intelligenten und nachhaltigen Stromkonsum für jeden zugänglich zu machen und den Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien voranzutreiben, um den Klimawandel zu bekämpfen.</p>
