Working closely with the People Operations and IT teams, you will ensure a seamless experience for new employees and efficient daily office operations for all staff.This is a part-time role (25 to 30 hours per week) with schedule flexibility within a standard 9-5 working week. The role is based on-site in our Berlin office in Mitte. What you will do:<ul><li>Lead a Smooth Office Move: Take charge of an exciting Berlin office relocation in early 2025, coordinating vendors, contractors, and movers to make the transition seamless and stress-free for the team.</li><li>Keep the Berlin Office Running: Manage the day-to-day operations, from keeping the shelves stocked with supplies and snacks to ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.</li><li>Solve Problems Creatively: Tackle challenges with practical and imaginative solutions to keep the office running like clockwork.</li><li>Handle the Mail Like a Pro: Sort, scan, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.</li><li>Make the Office a Great Place to Be: Organize weekly breakfasts, lunches, and special projects</li><li>Welcome New Hires and Guests: Support onboarding for Berlin newcomers, maintain health and safety standards, and provide a warm welcome for visitors.</li><li>Track Budgets and Expenses: Manage office expenses and reporting to ensure efficient use of resources and financial transparency.\</li><li>Plan Office Events and Projects: Plan team events like happy hours, volunteer days, and other initiatives that bring people together and build a great office culture.</li></ul>Who you are:<ul><li>You're fluent in German, the language you'll use to communicate complex topics to multiple external stakeholders</li><li>You have one or more years of experience in Office Management or Business Operations</li><li>An optimist.
