Science has long known that bioactives are critical to human health, yet the vast majority remain unknown and are often referred to as the “dark matter” of nutrition. Help us see, shape and seize opportunities for Brightseed’s products and be a part of changing the future of health. Reporting to the SVP, Commercial, this new position - Director Marketing and Insights, will partner closely with our Sales team to drive and enable B2B product differentiation across customers and consumers, marketing programs, new product launches, asset development, lead generation, research studies and insights development.  You will lead projects end to end, shape business strategy, value proposition messaging, and collaborate on critical product decisions and customer relationships. Our rapidly growing business needs someone with outstanding domain experience working in marketing, product, or consumer insights within the B2B Food, Beverage or Supplement Sector in agency and/or company side.  </span></div><br><br><h3>THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE</h3><ul><li>Develop and drive critical marketing strategy and consumer research  for Brightseed.</li><li>Launch multiple new products with comprehensive go-to-market plans, consumer research, product assets, commercial targets.   </li><li>Implement lead generation programs to drive top of funnel lead generation, nurture, and qualification.</li><li>Design and deliver critical consumer research to shape the creation of the Brightseed Bioactives brand.</li><li>Generate essential insights to inform the product profile and launch of Brightseed’s Bioactive ingredients to market.</li><li>Synthesize data and insights to inform the opportunities in health and consumer whitespaces for our bioactives development and drive global expansion.</li><li>Translate and communicate marketing plans with clarity and impact to empower better decisions and build stronger customer partnerships. </li></ul><h3>THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED</h3><ul><li>Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience in insights, market research and strategic analysis.</li><li>Degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics or other related field; MBA is preferred.</li><li>B2B Ingredients experience is essential. Consumer brand, pharmaceutical and health product experience would also be a big plus. </li><li>Food, beverage and supplement sector expertise, including strong understanding of ingredients and innovation processes and applications.</li><li>Proven track record of performing and translating advanced analytics and data and articulating key insights to create value and drive business growth.</li><li>Hands-on experience with an up-to-date knowledge of market research methodologies, tools and providers.</li><li>Has a network and strong connections within our target industries to leverage resources and drive our marketing plans.</li><li>Strong entrepreneurial ability and willingness to wear multiple hats in a rapidly evolving company.</li><li>Ability to partner effectively across functions and act as a thought partner to key  stakeholders across a rapidly growing organization, as well as develop and manage a team with urgency to deliver against multi priorities and tight timelines.</li></ul><h3>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</h3><ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.</li></ul><h3>COMPENSATION</h3><ul><li>The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000.</li><li>Compensation for this position is commensurate with relevant qualifications and work experience, academic credentials, job related skills, employment location and other factors. </li></ul><br><div><b style="font-size:18px;">THE BENEFITS YOU’LL ENJOY</b></div><div>As a lab based company, where in person collaboration is key to drive innovation, we encourage all team members to be in our office most days each week.
