Deputy Manager-Senior Windows & Datacenter Administrator

Roles and Responsibility:

• Manage & maintain windows server infrastructure including installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Windows server operating Systems.
• Manage virtualized environments using VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V, including VM provisioning, performance monitoring & troubleshooting.
• Manage & administer Domain Controllers, DNS, File, Print & WSUS Servers
• Configure & manage Active directory services, group policies & organization units
• Lead server deployment projects including planning, provisioning & configuring new Servers.
• Managing enterprise Storage & Backup operations using Veeam backup Application
• Manage administration tasks & operations related to Microsoft INTUNE, Identity Access Management & Autopilot
• Manage & administer Microsoft O365 Tenant including sharePoint
• Perform MS Database Administration as and when needed
• Administration of CMDB using ServiceNow
• Diagnose & resolve Server related issues, including performance bottle necks.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, virtualization, & cloud migration to optimize infrastructure efficiency & reduce costs.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as applying patches on Windows & Linux Servers.
• Monitor server performance metrics, logs, alerts. Perform routine performance tuning and optimization tasks to maintain optimal server performance & resource utilization
• Collaborate with Application Teams for their hosting requirements & provide daily operations support
• Work closely with cross functional teams & vendors to resolve escalated incidents & minimize business impact
• Any other duties seen as critical to the role.

• Linux Servers Management (Intermediate level)
• Good communication Skills (Verbal & written)
• Excellent knowledge & experience in installing, configuring & managing Windows Servers including 2016, 2019 & 2022.
• Hands on work experience in managing Linux Servers – Intermediate level.
• Experience in designing & deploying Active directory environments including domain controllers, GPO & organizational units.
• Server Virtualization technologies – VMware vSphere & Hyper-V
• Strong understanding of concepts like SCCM, WSUS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP & VLANS.
• Experience in PowerShell scripting.
• Good understanding in cloud computing & hosting technologies.
• Good knowledge & understanding of Microsoft 0365 Environment including Microsoft End user Licenses management.
• Experience with Patch management tools & processes for deploying Security updates, hot fixes & service packs across windows server environments.
• Proficiency in performing windows Server OS upgrades, migration & DR activities.
• Experience in storage technologies like NAS, SAN & raid configurations.
• Proficiency in backup & recovery solutions for Windows server environments
• Good understanding of Networking concepts & protocols.
• Familiar with Cyber security standards.
• Good understanding in ITIL process. Change, Incident & Problem Management.
• Proven expertise as a Windows server administrator preferably in a large enterprise environment managing 300 Servers.
• Excellent technical & problem-solving skills.
