Business Development Manager - C&I

We are building our sales team to engage prospective customers, qualify their needs and fit with VECKTA, onboard them into the VECKTA platform and enable them to gain better energy outcomes efficiently. About the role On a typical day, Business Development Managers engage with commercial and industrial businesses in the role of trusted advisor to help them accelerate their energy transition. You will help influence our product strategy with feedback and intelligence gathered from the market and refine processes to help our users and the VECKTA team 10x their impact. What you’ll do The primary responsibility of Sales and Business Development is to drive revenue which is primarily generated through platform access subscriptions, onsite energy assessments and marketplace transactions. Responsibilities include: <ul> <li dir="\&quot;ltr\&quot;">Selling with the support of the executive team, advisors and technical team </li> <li dir="\&quot;ltr\&quot;">Learn quickly, apply feedback, take initiative and embrace technology</li> <li dir="\&quot;ltr\&quot;">Manage the entire sales process and pipeline</li> <li dir="\&quot;ltr\&quot;">Utilize warm leads from the team, partners and marketing, to pitch, demo, present, and win new business</li> <li dir="\&quot;ltr\&quot;">Lead generation and self-generated opportunities through prospecting, networking and identifying strategic partnerships</li> <li dir="\&quot;ltr\&quot;">Influence the continuous improvement of VECKTA by bringing industry trends and client feedback to the team</li> </ul> Success in this role means accelerating the deployment of distributed energy systems, and the transition to a more resilient, lower carbon future.
