Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.</div>What You Will Be Doing:You will help shape each employee’s journey at Helion while supporting a culture of innovation, engagement, and excellence. You will report to the Senior People Operations Manager, and this is an onsite role located at our Everett, WA office.You Will:<ul><li>Champion a culture of accountability and integrity by ensuring the organization meets and exceeds federal, state, and local regulations</li><li>Take ownership of critical compliance areas, including employee reporting (EEOC, EEO-1), labor categorization, garnishments, and OSHA safety reporting</li><li>Proactively resolve workplace safety cases to protect both employees and the organization</li><li>Manage workers' compensation and L&amp;I claims, ensuring timely reporting, diligent follow-ups, and effective resolution</li><li>Partner with internal teams and external agencies to proactively mitigate risks and foster a safe and supportive workplace</li><li>Partner with employee-experience teams, including Facilities, Safety, and Communications, to align initiatives and enhance workplace culture</li><li>Ensure seamless coordination of programs that support employee engagement and well-being</li><li>Oversee all payroll operations, including bi-weekly payroll, adjustments, taxes, and addressing employee inquiries</li><li>Continuously improve systems and procedures, ensuring scalability while delivering a seamless employee experience</li><li>Serve as a key point of contact for employees, offering guidance and support across various topics</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>7+ years in relevant roles, ideally in fast-paced or startup environments (previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred)</li><li>Expertise in payroll, taxes, and compliance</li><li>Proven track record of managing and delivering impactful HR projects</li><li>Demonstrated thoughtful and proactive mindset with a passion for creating positive employee experiences</li></ul>#LI-Onsite  #LI-MM1<div><div><div>Total Compensation and BenefitsHelion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
