About the Job
- You carry out research and analyses on issues in the field of energy storage and energy systems
- You develop evaluations/models in MATLAB/Simulink
- You will be responsible for project management and communication with the customer in coordination with your team leader
- You develop solutions to technical problems independently and in collaboration with colleagues from other teams
- You carry out analyses and tests on battery storage systems in the laboratory and evaluate the results in a structured manner
- You have a degree in engineering or natural sciences related to energy/electrical engineering, ideally with knowledge in the field of batteries
- You enjoy developing and implementing new solutions independently
- You enjoy working in a team and are communicative
- You are characterized by a structured way of working and organizational skills
- You have already gained initial work experience as an engineer / consultant in the field of energy storage / batteries (2 years +).
- You are willing to expand your existing knowledge of batteries
- You have knowledge of Matlab and/or Simulink
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and / or English
- Because you get a cross-industry insight into a topic of the future
- Because you can take responsibility for customer projects

<p>We are a dynamic high-tech company from Aachen with subsidiary BatterieIngenieure South Europe SL in Bilbao area, Spain. We deal with all electrochemical energy storage systems. The focus here is on Li-ion technologies and lead-acid batteries. But also SuperCaps, Ni-based technologies or primary cells are part of our work. The company has specialized in three core areas in the battery field. The first area covers all tests on cells, modules and batteries. In addition to electrical tests, mechanical, thermal and safety tests are also carried out. The spectrum of test specimens ranges from the smallest cells in so-called coin-cell format to HV batteries with a maximum voltage of 1,000V. In the second subject area, the focus is on the development of hardware, models and algorithms for the diagnostics of storage devices. The range of services is completed with the business area of technical consulting. This includes topics such as safety behavior, technology and product consulting, failure cause analyses and the preparation of expert reports. We are hiring!
