This role requires proactive leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement across all solar energy project sites.  <h2>Responsibilities</h2>Key Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Develop and Implement Safety Policies (30%)Create, maintain, and promote safety policies tailored to solar energy projects, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.</li> <li>Conduct Training and Education (20%)Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors, addressing solar-specific risks and maintaining training records.</li> <li>Perform Site Inspections and Audits (20%)Conduct safety inspections and audits of solar project sites, document findings, and implement corrective actions as necessary.</li> <li>Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Reporting (10%)Stay updated on safety regulations, ensuring all necessary permits, reports, and documentation are completed and submitted timely.</li> <li>Drive Continuous Improvement (10%)Monitor safety performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance safety practices.</li> <li>Review Contracts for Safety Requirements (10%)Evaluate and provide feedback on project contracts to ensure adherence to safety standards.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Required:<ul> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Experience: 5–7 years in a safety management role, with experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.</li> <li>Certifications: OSHA 30/510 certification.</li> <li>Skills &amp; Knowledge:</li> <ul> <li>Comprehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA, NFPA 70E, and other safety regulations.</li> <li>Expertise in electrical safety, fall protection systems, construction safety, and hazardous material management.</li> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management software.</li> </ul></ul>Preferred:<ul> <li>Experience: Familiarity with distributed generation solar projects or utility-scale solar farm construction.</li> <li>Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent.</li> <li>Skills: Project management expertise and experience integrating safety systems in renewable energy projects.</li></ul> The expected starting pay range for this role is $102,000 - $128,000 USD. This range is an estimate and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern’s compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
