The primary purpose of the role is to maintain electrical equipment and keep equipment running, troubleshoot electrical &amp; automation related downtimes in the factory, participate in Planned maintenance, maintaining stock of electrical goods and work towards continuous Improvement.Main Accountabilities<ul><li>Maintain the Safety requirements of the site</li><li>Ensure Safety Lockouts are performed correctly</li><li>Training and coaching staff members</li><li>Ensure Safety and control measures are maintained</li><li>Diagnose faults</li><li>Organise installation work</li><li>Liaise with onsite contractors</li><li>Work within the budget</li><li>Manage Installs, tests, commissions machinery</li><li>Diagnose, maintain and repair electrical and electronic equipment, networks and systems</li></ul><ul><li>Reads drawings, electrical diagrams and specifications to determine job requirements plans, measures and lays out installation reference points</li><li>Selects, cuts and connects wire and cable to terminals and connectors uses electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults repairs or replaces faulty wiring and defective parts</li><li>Positions and installs electrical switchboards</li><li>Connects electrical systems and equipment to power supplies</li><li>Tests continuity of circuit to ensure safety and electrical characteristics such as voltage, resistance and phase angle</li><li>Installs, tests and adjusts electric and mechanical parts of equipment</li><li>Communicate with Professional Engineers or Architects on the positioning of electrical systems</li><li>Reporting structure, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Planner, Process Engineers, Site Operations Manager</li><li>Maintenance Fitters to achieve harmonious rapid repairs and upgrades</li></ul>
