The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with various IT general tools, system administration, and backup administration tools.</div><div> </div><div>What You Will be doing</div><ul><li>Provide comprehensive support for system administration and network components, including server configurations, emergency restoration services, backups, and maintenance</li><li style="font-weight:bold;"><strong>Unix/Linux Systems: Experience with Unix/Linux server administration, shell scripting, and Unix/Linux-based backup solutions</strong></li><li style="font-weight:bold;"><strong>RHEL/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux, AWS EC2, EKS, knowledge</strong></li><li style="font-weight:bold;"><strong>Python and shell scripting.</strong></li><li>Experience in Windows Server and Cloud Technologies will be plus.</li><li>Supervise network communications across various platforms</li><li>Coordinate administration, technical, and transition activities with system administrators</li><li>Assist with new application implementation and hardware migration</li><li>Ensure proper installation and operation of systems equipment</li><li>Migrate existing enterprise servers to new consolidated servers</li><li>Integrate servers with monitoring tools and scripts to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency</li><li>Manage all aspects of IT, including desktop support, network support, system administration, and backups</li></ul><div>Who You Are and What You Bring</div><ul><li>10+ years combined experience in hands-on system administration</li><li>Experience in a large-scale, dynamic enterprise environment with production/revenue-based environment that is critically relied upon for the success of the business</li><li>Proven experience in system administration and network management</li><li>Proficiency with backup administration tools and IT general tools</li><li>Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix </li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills</li></ul><p>Technical Skillset Requirements</p><ul><li>Unix/Linux Systems: Experience with Unix/Linux server administration, shell scripting, and Unix/Linux-based backup solutions</li><li>AWS Cloud Administration: Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC), infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and AWS security best practices</li><li>Containerization and Kubernetes: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration tools</li><li>Application Servers and Web Servers Administration: Experience with Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, and IIS</li><li>DevOps Practices: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)</li><li>AWS Workspaces: Experience with AWS Workspaces administration, VDI environments, and AWS Workspaces security best practices</li><li>Nutanix Administration: Experience with Nutanix administration, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of Nutanix clusters</li><li>Rubrik Management: Experience with Rubrik management, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of Rubrik backup and recovery solutions</li><li>Windows Systems: Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and Enterprise backup solutions</li></ul>
