<div><span style="font-size:16px;">Zoox is seeking an experienced Embedded Software &amp; FPGA Engineer to join our Advanced Hardware Engineering team and help lead the development of safety-critical automated test infrastructures, focusing on sensors and ECUs.</span></div><br><br><h3>In This Role, You Will: </h3><ul><li>Contribute to and lead the development of multi-disciplinary embedded systems projects for mission-critical validation</li><li>Own product lifecycles from concept, to development, to delivery</li><li>Architect, implement, and maintain robust C++ applications for embedded Linux systems and FPGA designs</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build and enhance testing infrastructure</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience</li><li>3+ years of experience with production-level FPGA development</li><li>Strong C++ development skills, with a focus on low-latency and high-performance code in user and kernel space</li><li>Experience with System Verilog and HDL Verification</li><li>Experience with Python and test automation with Pytest</li><li>Experience with Git, build systems (e.g., Bazel), and unit testing frameworks (e.g., GTest)</li><li>Proficiency with analyzing electronic schematics</li><li>Experience with Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and CAN</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualification </h3><ul><li>Experience with Yocto or Petalinux</li><li>Knowledge of CI build and test infrastructure</li><li>Experience with high speed protocols like PCIe and MIPI CSI-2</li><li>Experience with with containerization </li><li>Hands on experience with Xilinx MPSoC platforms</li><li>Knowledge of PCB design and manufacturing workflows</li></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
