The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $144,000 to $189,000 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy and Vision:
- Lead the strategic direction for engineering and digital operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Develop and maintain a product and technology roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders, focusing on enhancing user experiences and operational efficiency.
Technical Leadership and Excellence:
- Provide expert guidance on engineering best practices, advanced technologies, and emerging trends.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of high-quality technology solutions.
- Ensure the successful launch and ongoing optimization of technology products from ideation through implementation.
Operational Excellence:
- Enhance the reliability and performance of digital platforms through proactive monitoring, automation, and instrumentation.
- Lead efforts to reduce technical debt, improve system stability, and ensure operational readiness for peak seasons.
- Implement and enforce best practices in project delivery, quality control, and safety.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Serve as the main liaison for design-related updates to core project teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Coordinate project efforts from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Digital Products, Customer Journey, UX & Design, Agile delivery and IT organizations.
- Prepare strategic plans for project success and actively manage project communications and documentation.
Innovation and AI Integration:
- Spearhead the delivery of DevSecOps solutions that empower the business, from cutting-edge cloud platforms to seamless GitOps and infrastructure-as-code.
- Lead the integration of AI into the software lifecycle, leveraging AI applications and Large Language Models (LLMs) to boost developer productivity and transform how software is created and deployed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 10 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in a senior engineering or technical leadership role.
- Subject matter expert and technical authority in Digital Transformation disciplines, including customer experience and customer facing systems, production operations, enterprise IT capabilities, and modern IT practices.
- Demonstrated successful experience with leading and managing teams on enterprise-scale technical initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile DevOps methodologies, practices, and infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with audience-appropriate translation (technical to non-technical, vice versa, etc.), and demonstrated experience briefing the highest levels of company and customer organizations.
- Demonstrated experience as an expert in software development, leveraging Agile DevOps practices for Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Global & Local organizations and multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in state-of-the-art Industry technologies, tools, and capabilities.
- Professional credentials and certifications in systems architecture development.
- Experience with cloud migration and hosting, including Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Cloud Service Providers (CSP)
- Experience with app modernization and customer facing digital capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration and achieving results through others.
