Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in the field with seal installation, removal and troubleshooting of seals and systems.

  • Support our end user customers during start up and commissioning of new assets, units, or sites.

  • Collaborate with Reliability and Claims Manager in the investigation of strategic customer claims preapproved and agreed with District Manager.

  • Coordinate with the Sales and Service teams to address strategic, critical, or complex repairs for non-standard rotating equipment services from the troubleshooting and root cause analysis perspective.

  • Collaborate and work with the Product Marketing and Product Management team to identify markets, industries or services in the field that could represent an opportunity for growth.

  • Collaborate with service team to evaluate and analyze internal service, repair, and emergency response processes, propose creative ideas and solutions for continuous improvement with customer centric mindset and elevate our End User’s customer experience.

  • Provide on site mechanical seal and Supply systems operation, maintenance and troubleshooting training in coordination with the training and sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (4 years) or equivalent industry experience

  • 10+ years of business experience, with 7+ years in a related field

  • Advanced education or training in mechanical seal technology

  • In-depth understanding of mechanical sealing technologies and associated equipment

  • Ability to assess the form, fit, and function of products for various applications

  • Proficiency with IBM-compatible PCs and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, with excellent problem-solving and team collaboration abilities

  • Willingness to travel locally overnight (up to 10%) and work at customer plants
