Job Description
· Take the overall responsibilities for Korean Logistics Management, which includes but not subject to daily operations, logistics vendor management, warehouse management, logistics cost freight settlement, handle emergency or unplanned cases and other tasks assigned by leader.
· Be accountable for import and export shipments for finish goods. Work with and manage the Freight Forwarders to monitor the shipment status, book ocean/air space, check documents, prepare relevant permits and trouble-shooting issues to make sure the on-time delivery.
· Work with Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team closely to define the HS Code and confirm the import/export policy of the international shipments. Support the Customs audit when there is a need.
· Vendor management. Monitor monthly KPI and ensure vendors put correct actions in place and always drive vendor’s performance excellence.
· Vendor management for commercial. Work and support the regional Logistics Procurement team on Logistics commercial activities, which means obtain the rates for new routes, services; price and contracts terms negotiation, control the overall cost spending.
· Inventory management. Conduct regular stock reconsolidation to ensure inventory integrity between SAP and physical number
· Monthly logistics billing settlement. Able to run the report for monthly overall spending as well as $/kg basis to have the good understand of cost structure and the inflation.
· Document properly all Logistics related files, as the key owner of Korea Logistics Documentation management.
· As the Logistics embassy in Korea, keep crystal transparency with leaders of key activities, in the meanwhile, keep good relationships with the folks in Korean office, collaboration and support.
Qualification
· Bachler degree or higher
· At least 5 years working experience in logistics area, DG handling experience is a MUST
· High level knowledge of international trades and domestic logistics, good understanding of multi-national company culture and principles.
· Experience on logistics vendor management
· SAP or ERP etc. operation knowledge is preferred, also Power BI, PPT skills would be a plus
· Excellent communication skills to work with broad and diverse range of stakeholders.
· Strong oral and written English.
