Are you ready to jump onboard.  We are looking for a Sales Support Engineer to oversee 2-stroke engine services.  The successful applicants should have a strong understanding and excellent technical knowledge of 2-stroke engines. This role is based in SingaporeResponsibilities:      <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px;"><li>Manage 2-stroke sales activities and customer relationships, to reach sales and margin targets, as well as customer satisfaction on assigned countries.</li><li>Promotion of 2-stroke Service product range on assigned countries.</li><li>Build relationship with Customers and Sales Managers on assigned countries. </li><li>Manage 2-stroke sales and sales support activities in assigned countries, according to the business strategy.</li><li>Manage Field Service and Technical Service Leads and prepare Sales Proposals.</li><li>Preparation of sales proposals and supporting presentation material &amp; documents for Spare Parts, Field Service and support B &amp; C class projects where applicable in accordance with customer's needs, requirements, specifications and in alignment / cooperation with internal organization.</li><li>Manage all requirements related to the upcoming drydocks </li><li>Ensure the functionality of proposed technical solutions and that proposed solution fulfils customer requirements.</li><li>Ensure sales proposals are within margin targets.</li><li>Closely collaborate with other functions as 2-stroke Product Sales Manager, Field Service Coordinator, Sales Proposal, Technical Manager.</li><li>Monitor market / competition developments and report to stakeholders.</li><li>Continuous improvement of communication internally/externally, of Way of Working in 2-Stroke but also with other functions. </li><li>Use of data and analytics to identify new opportunities.</li><li>CRM usage and reporting related tasks.</li></ul>Requirements:         <ul style="margin-bottom:11.0px;"><li>Bachelor’s degree on engineering.</li><li>2-stroke product portfolio, organization and technical knowledge.</li><li>Knowledge of regional market and awareness of cultural diversity</li><li>At least 5 years previous experience in Marine industry is required.</li><li>Entrepreneurial mind set, Sales affinity and high level of pro-activity.</li><li>Energy, passion, commitment and determination.</li><li>Customer centric attitude and team spirit.</li><li>Communication skills with positive, proactive attitude and self-motivation.</li><li>Presentation skills, e.g. for presenting technical solutions, customer proposals.</li><li>Fluent speaking and writing in English.</li><li>Willingness to travel overseas. </li><li>Have advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM (Salesforce) applications.</li></ul> At Wärtsilä we value, respect and embrace all our differences, and are committed to diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunities; everyone can be their true self and succeed based on their job-relevant merits and abilities.
