Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.</div>What You Will Be Doing:We are hiring a Senior Fusion Technician to assemble Helion's fusion generators and subscale plasma devices. You will help develop hardware, lead full-scale builds, and coach fellow technicians on the Production Team. You will report directly to one of our Production Supervisors at our Everett, WA office.You Will:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Collaborate with a versatile team to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical components</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Integrate electromechanical components and systems to the fusion generator's primary structure</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Design and fabricate fixtures to aid in the assembly of electromechanical components</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Coach technicians, developing their technical skills</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the entire production process</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Be able to squat, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50lbs</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports to accomplish our goals</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">5+ years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician focused on rapid prototyping and iteration</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Experience operating heavy-duty machinery (forklift, boom/scissor lift, bridge crane, etc.) and using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes, etc.)</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Experience with high-voltage systems or vacuum systems</li><li style="font-family:helvetica , arial , sans-serif;">Experience designing parts/fixtures in CAD software</li></ul>#LI-Onsite  <div><div><div>Total Compensation and BenefitsHelion's compensation package includes a competitively benchmarked base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits.
