About the Job
Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 30 person start-up who have just graduated from the Y Combinator in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Sales department currently 6 people and looking to grow by an intern in summer 2025. Role description
You will be working alongside the COO and co-founder of autarc, as well as other Sales / Customer Support employees to help enter new markets and improve the day to day work of our customers. This internship has a specific focus on sales, business development and market expansion. You will support our fully fledged sales team and become a product expert in the market of home electrification / renovation.
You will need to work on sales decks, presentations, will join fairs, and work yourself into norms and standards of markets, we are currently not live in. As an intern within the team, you will be supported by Senior people to drive your own initiatives.
- Hands on sales work
- Supporting our customers when help is needed
- Focusing on new markets and verticals
- Joining our expansion team on fairs abroad
- Interacting with the Design and Product team to define market requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics or software engineering
- Previous startup, consulting or VC experience
- Fluent in German and English
- Based in Berlin with a willingness to work hybrid (office in Mitte)
- Freedom to choose your own equipment

autarc GmbH
<p>With autarc we are building the leading heat pump OS for HVAC installers in Europe to accelerate the transition to low carbon homes. Heating with gas and oil accounts for 30% of Europe's CO2 emissions, and we are at the forefront of combating this environmental concern. The problem: Installers are eager to install more heat pumps but are hindered by a broken installation process. Our solution leverages LiDAR technology and AI to cut the overall project time of heat pump installations by 50%. We integrate a CRM, planning, and design tool into an all-in-one platform. By capturing hundreds of data points in minutes rather than hours, we empower installers to confidently shift their business to the right technology – heat pumps.</p>
