The Opportunity:

We have a rare opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Welder to join our high performing Geotech team based out of Port Melbourne workshop.  This role will see you working with our seasoned professionals as part of Acciona Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• All duties relevant to an experienced (qualified) welder
• Operating electrically powered tools, hand tools and other equipment to complete maintenance and construction projects
• You will be working on Piling Rig tooling fabrication, repairs and maintenance.

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (completed)

• 2+ years’ experience (post qualifications)

• Ability to work in confined spaces

• Experience working with hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, and/or turnbuckles.  

• Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of components used in the construction engineering industry, in disciplines such as ground engineering

• Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
