How you'll contributeInstalling, Assembling, and testing mechanical systems and equipment
Diagnosing mechanical issues and identifying faulty components
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and schematics
Using welding, machining, and fabrication techniques to manufacture parts
Perform, rework, repairs and maintenance with engineering design intent and in conformance to industry standards
Collaborating closely with engineers and other technicians
Working in a Manufacturing Execution to provide a view on status of an assembly as well as raising issues for non-conforming parts
Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverables
Months 0-3
Get familiar with our plants
Execute mechanical assemblies with clear procedures
Support by creation of procedures in order to make assembly easier
Work with our MES system
Months 3-6
Make suggestions to improve testing methods
Review created procedures and raise things, that don’t fit in reality
Support in the assembly and commissioning at customer sites
Go to expert in Piping
Get familiar in welding frames and other steel products
Months 6-12
Weld stainless steel in required quality
Plan work load and give stable estimations how long which task will take
Make suggestions, how mechanical execution can be optimized from an executing view
Go to expert in overall assembling
Deep mechanical knowledge like training ("Ausbildung") or something comparable
TIG welding skills
Able to weld Frames and similar things
One year or more work experience as technician
Experience in heavy mounting
Experience in working with MES system, ideal ION
Basic English skills

<p>GCT operates a low energy DAC approach to capture CO2 while generating hydrogen as a byproduct. The process consists of 3 main process steps. Absorption in a liquid, precipitation and desorption through alkaline electrolysis. The technology is based on 15 years of research with relevant patent applications filed and working prototypes. The company was founded as a university spin-out by 2 serial entrepreneurs and an experienced DAC researcher.</p>
