The Marketing Events Apprentice Role
The key aspects to this role will be: Event coordination, synchronization and communication with involved teams, feedback and intel gathering for metrics and ROI related to events.

Key Responsibilities
Event Management
- End-to-End Event Execution – Manage the full event lifecycle, from sourcing and planning to coordination, communication, and post-event analysis.
- Planning & Coordination – Oversee event logistics, ensuring timely execution (planning, shipping materials, managing communications, etc.).
- Communication – Maintain clear and timely communication with all involved parties.
- Analysis & Reporting – Track, measure, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess event success.
- Support Visual Branding for Events – Assist in creating visually engaging event assets (e.g., invitations, booth signage, presentation slides, and social media posts) using tools like Canva.
- Support the sales team in planning and organizing small local events for prospects and clients.
- Assist in designing promotional materials or visual assets to enhance event engagement when needed.
- Help create visually appealing event collateral, including banners, flyers, and presentations, using Canva or similar tools.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align event visuals with branding guidelines.
- Contribute creative ideas for event branding, booth designs, or social media content related to events.
- Track and manage event budgets, ensuring accurate expense reporting and cost control.
Desired Background and Skills
Education- Masters degree desired, Bachelor's degree required
- A previous experience in event management would be a plus
- Technical
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Spreadsheets is a must
- Strong English proficiency is a must. French proficiency is desirable.
- Excellent project management skills
- Good people coordination. Clear, thoughtful communicator (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills
- Metrics-driven with strong analytical skills
- Resourceful - has the ability to find solutions to daily challenges
- Ability to consistently set and meet deadlines
- Basic marketing skills and knowledge
- Basic knowledge of finance and the financial industry is a plus

- Comfortable working in English and within a technical environment
- Negotiation skills: part of the event sourcing will be negotiations with external vendors, and colleagues to ensure everything goes smoothly.
