The Maintenance Engineer is the key technical resource for the manufacturing operation focusing on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution for electronic/mechanical equipment issues. The Engineer also plays a key role in continuous improvement for manufacturing equipment.
You will make an impact in this role by:
- Keeping current with latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods.
- Electronics Troubleshooting and Repair: AC (Allen Bradley and Siemens) and DC Drives; PLC
- Managing capital projects including identifying scope, cost, milestones, etc.
- Supporting the Facilities Manager in planning for equipment and maintenance resources and correcting existing discrepancies.

Requirements
To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Aptitude for hands-on work coupled with strong analytical skills.
- Identifies and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability. Communicating information (verbal, written, and electronic). View and create drawings (AutoCAD).
- Manage projects as assigned.
- Order materials and services via purchase orders (using SAP) and purchasing card.
- Provide engineering design for facility installations especially related to plant rearrangements.
- Understanding the procurement of facilities-related materials and services.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Facilities Management Software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Education& Experience:
- Associate or two-year technical degree required. BS degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience working with electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance.
