Job Description: 

Objective: 

The Marketing Operations Executive is influential in maximising the commercial return of our first party marketing and sales database. Conceptualising and implementing CRM strategies will support ERM in improving our customer attraction, engagement and retention capabilities. You will be passionate about data quality as the foundation of impactful marketing, constantly finding ways to grow our database and ensure it remains relevant, accurate and enriched. Your understanding of our database infrastructure and our customer’s behaviour will allow you to build sophisticated audience segments and automations that support the marketing team to deliver successful campaign metrics. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement CRM strategies to enhance customer attraction, engagement, retention, and loyalty. 

  • Manage and optimize the CRM and marketing automation system to maximise commercial return from our marketing and sales database. 

  • Support the creation of targeted marketing campaigns by conducting customer segmentation and behavior analysis. 

  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 

  • Ensure database hygiene, growth, and management, including monitoring unsubscribe rates, invalid emails, and other key metrics to ensure data accuracy and integrity. 

  • Build segmentations in a marketing automation platform to build targeted and relevant audiences for marketing tactics. 

  • Design and build marketing automations and trigger campaigns to nurture prospects down different customer journeys based on their behaviour and/or demographics to optimize lead generation. 

  • Ensure all marketing data is accurately tracked, stored, and updated across our marketing automation platform and CRM (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement / Pardot and Salesforce preferred). 

  • Monitor and maintain database completeness and cleanliness with strong database governance practises e.g. ensuring duplicate records are merged, inaccurate data is corrected and incomplete data is enriched. 

  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) around our first party data. 

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns. 

  • Monitor the volume, quality, and conversion of marketing leads to optimize our generation and nurturing strategies. 

  • Support the development of audiences for effective paid media strategies. 

  • Train and support team members on CRM best practices and system usage. 

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the marketing department to ensure efficient workflow and project management. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data, Business, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience in marketing operations and CRM management. 

  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and tools, with experience in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) highly desirable. 

  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel). 

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, experience with Trello, Monday.com, ClickUp or similar platforms desirable. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
