PC Software Engineer

The Business Unit Food Processing and Packaging offers leading processing technology for the poultry, meat, fish, vegetarian and meat-replacement markets. Our portfolio contains - either stand-alone or complete automated lines, which can be integrated with freezing and packaging solutions. Within our Division Food & Health Technologies we are looking for a Software Engineer. The location for this position will be our machine manufacturing plant Bakel in the Netherlands which is part of the Business Unit Food Processing and Packaging.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a PC Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SCADA and MES solutions for our customers. You will also provide installation support, training, and remote assistance to ensure smooth software operation in production environments.

Tasks:

• Develop and program software independently or as part of a team, depending on project size.

• Install and support software solutions at customer sites.

• Train customers on SCADA/MES applications.

• Provide remote support to colleagues and clients worldwide.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with C# and .NET.

• Experience with Microsoft DevOps and Git is a plus.

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Wonderware System Platform, and industry standards (S88, S95) is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-player mindset.

• Fluent in English (spoken & written).
