They will be a change agent to drive a continuous improvement mindset and will collaborate with sales to garner the value add information required to obtain the optimal resultsKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee the Demand Management function for the IPEX North American business:<ul><li>Drive the S&amp;OP and monthly business planning processes.</li><li>Steer the collaborative efforts across multiple organizational functions (marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain) to develop a consensus plan for integrating financial expectations with operational execution.</li><li>Integrate best practices for key Demand Management processes such as S&amp;OP, demand planning and budgeting, and innovation forecast and execution.</li></ul></li><li>Drive the improvement of forecast accuracy at the item level by collaborating with Sales to extract new information/indicators that will become part of a robust process.</li><li>Provide value-added business advice and key performance counsel to management in support of achieving the company’s business and financial commitments.</li><li>Support the elaboration of the 3-year strategic sale plan (called Long Term Capacity Planning process) for North American business and ensure the alignment with the corporate strategies.</li><li>Develop, implement,t and maintain relevant reports and tools pertaining to the Demand Planning process.</li><li>Refine and optimize the demand statistical software (SO99).</li><li>Manage a team of demand planners to drive and facilitate the collaborative planning process:<ul><li>Lead, inspire, and manage the work efforts of the team related to processes and forecasting practices.</li><li>Build talent by managing the performance and development of direct reports. </li><li>Actively participate in succession planning of the Supply Chain Department and manage the career progression and development of team members.</li></ul></li></ul>Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>University degree or College diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline.</li><li>7-10 years of experience in demand planning.</li><li>Management experience is required.</li><li>Results-focused with a strong service orientation, and strong organizational and planning skills.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>APICs certification is a plus.</li><li>Lean, or Six Sigma, training is considered an asset.</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
