Construction Inspector II

The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Inspector II for immediate employment in the Novi, MI office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Field inspection and oversight of transportation construction projects including bridges, road, traffic signals, signing, ITS and underground facilities.

• Monitor and record the work and progress of contractors, while tracking material quality and usage using FieldBook and ProjectWise.

• Verify that traffic control measures are implemented and maintained during construction.

• Maintain communication between AECOM supervisors and peers, MDOT and local agency personnel, contractor personnel and the general public.

• Perform NPDES inspections.
