About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA/HMI platforms
- Assist in the specification, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and controls across new and existing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime
- Contribute to the design of scalable, efficient automation solutions for high-temperature and chemical processes
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support production and R&D initiatives
- Maintain documentation including schematics, control logic, and calibration records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering (or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in controls engineering, ideally in industrial or process environments
- Proficient in PLC programming (Allen Bradley Preferred) and SCADA/HMI configuration ( Ignition preferred)
- Familiar with process instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, chemical sensors)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup environment
