Our strength is our people, and we’re always looking to get stronger across North America, Europe, and Asia.Join us as a Finance Director in Auburn Hills, MI, as we work together to bring innovative automation solutions to life.  Location Type: This is an onsite role in Auburn Hills, MI. How You’ll Make an Impact:<ul><li>Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.</li><li>In conjunction with the CFO, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis.</li><li>Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation.</li><li>Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.</li><li>Oversee and support the accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.</li><li>Manage cash flow and treasury for annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts and actuals.</li><li>Verify payroll amounts and adjustments and manage issues if they transpire.</li><li>Proactively manage credit control for customers and vendors, working with sales and purchasing.</li><li>Manage internal and external audits.</li><li>Oversee grants and tax abatement management, including presenting to government for requests and clarifications.</li><li>Support ERP implementation, working toward a goal of one ERP system, and guide the alignment to one process in accounting and consolidation.</li><li>Manage corporate insurance and risk.</li><li>Oversee leases and IFRS 16 compliance.</li><li>Calculate and report sales commissions.</li><li>Ensure workpaper completion and reconciliation within each entity and at the corporate level.</li></ul>Note: This list of responsibilities is inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities.What You’ll Bring: <ul><li>Over 10 years of proven accounting experience.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior-level accounting or Finance/Project Controller.</li><li>Professional accounting certifications, including CMA, CGA, or CA.</li><li>CPA designation is highly preferred.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP).</li><li>Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in detailed financial data analysis.</li><li>Proven experience in payroll management, with a focus on streamlining accounting processes.</li><li>Exemplary track record in financial project management.</li><li>Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.</li></ul>Disclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.Company Overview:  At JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company, we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
