We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving functions. This role requires both physical and mental stamina to ensure that our warehouse operates efficiently and accurately. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for the handling, tracking, and organizing of materials, tooling, supplies, and products within the warehouse.
Role:
- Lead service-related projects that support the vehicle dynamics and chassis group.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to locate items stored in trailers and yard areas.
- Promote and uphold the 6S and Safety culture within the warehouse.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of vehicle dynamics and chassis tuning parts.
- Assist material handlers in unloading materials from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves, using forklifts, hand trucks, or manually.
- Track and update project lists and work orders using online job tracking software.
- Maintain records of trailer locations and their contents.
- Load materials into vehicles and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage during transit.
- Attach identifying labels or tags to materials or packaging containers.
- Stack and bundle materials and equipment, ensuring appropriate use of banding, skids, and containers.
- Keep products, materials, and equipment clean and free of debris.
- Assist with scrap removal and ensure proper traceability.
- Follow safe material handling procedures when lifting, moving equipment, or directing movement.
Qualifications:
- At-least two years of experience in warehouse operations and/or in shipping & receiving
- Forklift certification or the ability to complete forklift training within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work long hours, stand for extended periods, and lift up-to 50 pounds consecutively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with common warehouse tools and equipment.
- Reliable, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety and comfortable working independently.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an automotive technician.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
