Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior IoT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead the development and management of IoT infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and maintaining robust IoT data pipelines, integrating edge devices with cloud platforms, and ensuring secure and scalable data flow. This role demands strong expertise in IoT communication protocols, data infrastructure, and embedded systems, along with an ability to work effectively in agile environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain IoT data infrastructure to ensure seamless integration between edge devices and cloud environments using protocols such as MQTT, Wi-Fi, Zigbee.
• Architect and implement scalable data pipelines that enable real-time and batch data processing from edge nodes to cloud services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop solutions, and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Work within agile development cycles, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Utilize project management tools such as Jira.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in IoT infrastructure engineering or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in IoT communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, Zigbee, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience or exposure with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT).
  • Knowledge of data pipeline technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, MQTT brokers).
  • Proficiency in container technology (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C/C++, Java).
