As an AP Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable and ensuring that financial transactions related to accounts payable are processed accurately and timely. This role involves managing, developing and implementing accounts payable policies and procedures, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments. The AP Analyst plays a crucial role in managing cash flow, conducting financial planning, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Manage the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and reconciliation of accounts.</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.</li><li>Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, including verification of invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions.</li><li>Manage month-end closing processes for accounts payable, including accruals, prepaids, and other adjustments related to accounts payable..</li><li>Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure smooth operation of the accounts payable function.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.</li><li>Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies and procedures.</li><li>Liaise with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations related to accounts payable.</li><li>Manage General Ledger coding for transactions through Netsuite, ensuring that all entries are correctly classified and recorded.</li></ul><h3>Experience and Skills:</h3><ul><li>B.S. or B.A. in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required</li><li>5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow management.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, and other platforms. (NetSuite experience preferred)</li><li>Excellent time management, attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while understanding the responsibilities, challenges, and priorities of various work functions, especially in a growing startup.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.</li></ul><h3>Logistics:</h3><ul><li>This is a full-time, onsite role working in Holland, MI </li></ul><br><div><b>About Us: </b></div><div>Natron Energy (natron.energy) is the future of energy storage.
