We expect all team members to aim to go well beyond industry standards to positively impact every project we work on. As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, and working closely with colleagues across multiple offices, you will inspire, analyse, report, model, and document Sustainability projects and liaise with clients with the aim of expanding the project portfolio. You will ideally have experience in a similar role working in ESD consulting in the built environment and be looking to take the next step in your career and increase your client exposure, job management, and leadership qualities.  Your work will span all sectors and potentially offer a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to influence, and in some cases lead, our national capabilities, and processes, based on the level of experience already gained in the industry.<h2>The Skills</h2><ul> <li>Engineering, Architecture, or built environment related degree.</li> <li>3-5+ years of consulting experience in the built environment sector.</li> <li>Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for a Senior Consultant role.</li> <li>Experience with thermal dynamic modelling software for buildings, using IES, Apache HVAC, Design Builder, Energy Plus or similar.</li> <li>Experience with CFD modelling software, analysing wind comfort and ventilation.</li> <li>Experience with preparing strategy, implementation, and certification of best practice certification schemes, including Living Building Challenge, Green Star, NABERS, and WELL Building Standard.</li> <li>Developed knowledge of engineering and architectural principles to analyse and interpret documentation and drawings. </li> <li>Possess a body of knowledge that allows you to evaluate ESD attributes and opportunities within designs, and where improvements are required (mechanical, façade, spatial, etc).</li> <li>Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment.</li> <li>Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively resourcing to meet client deadlines.</li></ul>Preferable, but not essential<ul> <li>NABERS Assessor</li> <li>Green Star Accredited Professional</li> <li>WELL Accredited Professional</li> <li>Experience in Climate Active &amp; Carbon Neutral.</li> <li>Experience with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) using OneClick or equivalent software.</li></ul>We provide a diverse and inclusive work environment and offer many benefits to ensure your professional development while maintaining a healthy work-life balance such as flexible start and finish times, working from home, diverse and exciting engineering projects, paid parental leave, paid purchase leave, professional memberships, birthday day off, amongst others. Job description Your career at Cundall We know that to be the best at what we do we need a diverse workforce underpinned by an inclusive culture.
