The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and deep understanding of lithium-ion battery cell design and testing, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate across commercial, R&amp;D, and production teams Core Responsibilities:<ul><li>Technical Capabilities: Leverage deep technical expertise in lithium-ion batteries to guide product initiatives, develop internal testing protocols, and meet customer requirements.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with commercial teams, R&amp;D teams, and production stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of technical projects.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Product Roadmap Execution: Contribute to the development and implementation of product roadmaps, aligning technical capabilities with business goals.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Requirements Gathering: Translate customer needs and market insights into detailed technical requirements and specifications as well as feed into our product roadmaps.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges throughout the product development lifecycle.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Clear Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Prototyping &amp; Testing: Assist in prototyping and validating new product features.</li><li style="margin-top:16px;">Market &amp; User Research: Conduct competitive analysis and gather user feedback to drive product improvements.</li></ul>Required experience:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.  </li><li style="text-align:justify;">5+ years of experience in the battery industry, with a focus on lithium-ion battery cell technology and commercial production.</li><li>Familiarity with Li-ion cell design, manufacturing and testing</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li style="margin-bottom:16px;text-align:justify;">Creative, self-driven, creative thinker with an ability to wear many hats.</li></ul>Location: San Leandro, CA.
