POSITION OVERVIEW:

An opportunity is to support the accounting and entity management in Asia for real estate and other Apollo funds. The role is a varied role and key role to the successful running of the funds. The person should be enthusiastic, flexible and qualified. This role involves working closely with several departments within Apollo including investment and asset management team, legal, tax, and marketing and client services to ensure the preparation of accurate and timely accounting information and analysis, and the production of high quality financial and performance reporting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting the team with monthly reporting and fund accounting for the Funds supported from London
• Maintenance of full accounting records on Apollo system to reconcile back to administrator records
• Calculation of management fees and Incentive Fees/ carried interest
• Assisting in the quarterly valuation process and Investor reporting
• Calculation of monthly fund performance
• Liaison with external auditors with regards to statutory fund audits
• Fund budgeting and expense analysis, Cash management
• Review, allocation and approval of invoices and expenses
• Assisting with the preparation of various regulatory reporting
• Working with Apollo colleagues across India, Europe & US
• Ad Hoc Projects

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Accountants with 5-8 years of experience.
• Fund finance/ Fund Administration experience in a global organization.
• Preparation & review of Funds NAV’s & Investor allocations including waterfall calculations.
• Audit support, Preparation & review of Funds Financials under US GAAP/ IFRS.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
• Individual must be diligent and work well in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
• A forward thinking, creative individual with high ethical standards
• Preference for prior experience on Investran/ VPM
• Highly skilled in MS Office applications.
