We are hiring immediately for Senior Engineering Manager role that will help us to power progress for our customers

Position Summary

Provide specific engineering and technical support through the preparation of project specific designs and supporting technical documentations in Sales bids and Operational projects.

What you’ll do

  • Analysis of client system load profiles and electrical plant characteristics (utilization of ETAP, Power factory etc) and interpretation of all drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of power packages and electrical distribution systems. Ensuring all designs comply with Aggreko / regional / International safety standards as required.
  • Supervise other engineering discipline inputs such as Mechanical, Civil, Controls and Environmental in the form of both inhouse team members and external third part engineering vendors.
  • Work with the task feed from the Technical Support Desk to provide SME response  or direct engineering engagement with the client.
  • Manage the preparation of Project design Package documentation for inclusion in sales proposals and issuance to customer and site operations where required ensuring fleet selection is optimized during design
  • Ensure alignment with engineering  & sales whilst liaising with the  client’s technical team either remotely or conducting site visits as required, to verify project requirements.
  • Authorize and sign off all related documentation as required , review all commissioning reports ensuring all projects are handed to operational teams safely and as per design.
  • Provide technical/ESR instruction and mentoring to potential AP/CP candidates through the development plans to improve capability are in place working closely with operations and learning team.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Power generation or energy /engineering
  • Has extensive knowledge and experience in electrical field and control system in Energy Solutions.
  • Experience in Service Mobility ERP System is desired
  • Certified Professional Engineering in Japan
  • Quality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines
  • Office based job but requires frequent visits to the sites, international /domestic travel at short notice as per business requirements.
  • Possession of valid local driving license as per the need of the business
  • Flexibility to deal with fluctuating workload and a wide variety of problems from several sources. Capable of multi-tasking effectively, Able to work long hours in demanding conditions
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude but not limited to Engineering challenges and flexibility to cope effectively with changes to specifications or priorities.
  • Capacity to interact with clients on detailed technical negotiations defining scope and boundaries in Aggreko’s perspective.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
