Project Manager

A Project Manager contributes to Ion Solar by assisting Ion Solar customers and sales representatives with special projects related to the solar process such as third-party contracted work.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Communicate any issues or changes to the project or system to the sales representative
• Answer inbound questions from customers
• Process financial changes and retrieve new contract documents to adjust contract pricing
• Work with our loan providers to coordinate changes in the loan term or price.
• Assist sales representatives in modifying the system once the contract is signed.
• Coordinate scheduling of contracted work between customers and contractors
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to develop solutions to difficult problems
• Solid roofing knowledge and understanding of the insurance process
• In-depth experience using Xactimate software for roofing and insurance projects preferred
• Residential roofing experience preferred but not necessary
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors/vendors on projects
• Flexible during times of change
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience using a CRM and job management software

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Customer service experience required
• Solar experience preferred

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
