Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire quality management system within the manufacturing facility. This role involves developing and implementing quality policies and procedures, managing a team of quality professionals, and ensuring that products meet or exceed customer expectations. The Quality Manager conducts regular audits, reviews quality performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing quality documentation, ensuring compliance with ISO13485 standard and regulations, and reporting on quality performance to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Overall Quality Management
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control systems
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Conduct quality management reviews, audits and inspections
• Analyze data and generate reports on quality performance
Supplier Quality Management
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Supervise supplier audits and evaluations
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans
• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and specifications
• Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers
Quality Management
• Develop and maintain product quality standards
• Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Investigate and resolve any product quality issues
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement product improvements
• Supervise product testing and post market analysis to ensure compliance
• Review customer complaints and offer feedback to quality engineers
Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process and product improvement
• Implement quality improvement initiatives
• Lead and participate in quality improvement projects
• Utilize data and metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Team Management:
• Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
• Set goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement training programs to keep team members updated on trends and strategies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Quality Management, or related field, with at least 7 years experience., with at least 3 years experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Expert level understanding of failure analysis techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Google Analytics, and various CRM platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
• A strategic thinker with a test and learn approach to quality efforts and process improvements.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.
Salary range:
