Purpose of the Role:


As a Project Manager, you will oversee pre-FEED and FEED studies and manage technology licensing contracts with EPC contractors, ensuring projects are delivered successfully from initiation to completion. You will lead pre-construction stages, manage engineering subcontractors, and collaborate with EPC partners to deliver Svante's engineering and equipment supply. This will include overseeing project deliverables such as proprietary equipment and small pilot plant systems, ensuring alignment with Svante's procedures and policies. You will promote HSEC leadership and project execution excellence, representing Svante’s core values. 


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of 10 years industry experience, with at least 5 years in engineering-related design or management within the industrial market.
  • You possess expert project management skills with a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • You are a collaborative team player, comfortable leading as well as executing, and open to constructive input from multiple sources.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can navigate ambiguity while managing various stakeholders.
  • You are skilled in communicating ideas, gaining approval, and reaching resolutions with diverse audiences.
  • You prioritize health and safety, demonstrating a safety-based behavior culture.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with people from diverse technical backgrounds and at all management levels.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering.

What Success looks like in this role:

  • You will develop and implement project execution and construction/commissioning plans, coordinating resources across internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • You'll oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and risk management.
  • You'll implement a behavior-based Health and Safety culture.
  • You will conduct project status reviews and ensure alignment between design and estimating teams.
  • You'll serve as the primary Svante contact for clients/EPC partners.
  • Manage budget, change orders, and contracts.
