The position involves building strong relationships with business stakeholders and fostering cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless product implementation. As part of a forward-thinking organization, you will have the opportunity to drive technical innovation in the alternative asset investment space, gain unique insights into the operations of a top-tier alternative asset manager, and deepen your product development skill set.Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the Investment Engineering team in develop and launching new products and features that address the evolving needs of the business, particularly around trading, private deals, and risk management for our Credit and Insurance business</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and gather and document business requirements and goals</li><li>Create detailed specifications that define the business problems and how our team will address them</li><li>Gather and analyze user feedback and testing to identify areas of improvement and product enhancement</li><li>Work with engineers to define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog</li><li>Support existing products our team has previous released and identify areas for improvement in terms of functionality, user experience, and efficiency</li><li>Assist project managers / COOs in creating product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables</li><li>Develop and maintain product documentation including user manuals, release notes, and updates to the business</li><li>Ensure products meet user needs by transitioning complex business requirements into actional features and end-to-end solutions</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, finance, engineering, or a related fields</li><li>6+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, advisory consulting, or a related role in financial services or technology (experience within the financial services industry is preferred, but not required).</li><li>Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python [Bonus])</li><li>Proficient in presentation tools – PowerPoint</li><li>Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Asana, etc.</li><li>Technical aptitude and ability to work with development teams and understand system capabilities and constraints</li><li>Basic understanding of credit markets or alternative investments is a bonus</li></ul>ABOUT APOLLOApollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager.
