Job Description:

Provide support in tax closing activities related to ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS and in the delivery of accessory obligations, such as CIAP, GIA, Sped Fiscal, DCTF, EFD Contributions, Block K, among others. Provide support in the control of accumulated tax credit balances for offsetting, as well as in the management of PERDCOMPs.

Be responsible for coordinating and, when necessary, executing tax compliance activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external deadlines and adherence to the company's internal controls. Work together with other areas, such as Accounting, to prepare calculation records, reconcile tax returns and ensure the accuracy of tax information. Actively participate in company projects, resolving doubts and proposing appropriate tax paths and solutions. Perform detailed analyses of tax impacts on specific operations, proposing alternatives to mitigate risks and optimize the company's tax burden. Monitor current tax legislation, identifying and implementing necessary updates to ensure legal compliance and tax efficiency. Provide support in internal and external audits, providing necessary information and documents related to indirect taxes.

Develop management reports and indicators to monitor the efficiency of tax operations and propose continuous improvements. Provide specific tax analyses related to manufacturing plant operations, assisting in strategic decision-making. Perform tax analysis and classification of existing inventory materials and new products, in accordance with the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur (NCM) and other applicable legislation, ensuring that they are accurate and consistent with the company's operations, minimizing the risk of tax assessments and penalties.

Prepare tax reports and presentations for Company executives, highlighting tax impacts on new projects and operational changes. Actively participate in the planning and execution of physical inventories, ensuring the correct registration and tax classification of assets and stocks. Review inventory reports to ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including the correct completion of ancillary obligations such as Block K. Identify and correct discrepancies between accounting and tax data and physical inventory results. Collaborate with the logistics and operations team to ensure that inventory control processes are in compliance with tax policies. Propose improvements to inventory control processes, aiming at greater accuracy in tax and operational records. Perform other activities related to your role and work processes.
