Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Peak Performance: Maintain equipment functionality to the highest standards, including preventive maintenance and managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, robotic equipment, and software programming.

  • Install and Improve: Install, maintain, improve, and repair equipment, plant services, and building installations. Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Promote Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, local, site, and regional standards while troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Follow department procedures and standard work practices.

  • Collaborate for Success: Work with operations and engineering teams to ensure equipment meets desired capabilities. Act as a liaison with Original Equipment Manufacturers and third-party vendors for parts and services.

  • Optimize Downtime: Coordinate with business unit managers and engineers to schedule downtime for planned projects, preventive maintenance, and unplanned repairs.

  • Troubleshoot and Solve: Respond to breakdowns by identifying root causes, suggesting solutions, and providing options to management. Focus on minimizing downtime.

  • Proactive Protection: Identify and escalate any activities that could cause harm or damage to production. Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience
Specified Years of Industry-relevant professional experience
Relevant certifications, system experience, and training
Professional-Level English language skills preferred
